Why Generation Y Yuppies Are Unhappy

Why Generation Y Yuppies Are Unhappy

I want to share an illustrative article about Generation Y.

Posted in September on HuffingtonPost.com.

It´s about the huge differences in the past generations, how we handle our situations and what the big problem of the new generation is; Generation Y.

The article starts with a kind of a definition of the past generations. The illustrated protagonist is Lucy.

Her granparents are members of the G.I. Generation or “The Greatest Generation”, who grew up during the Great Depression and fought in WWII.

Lucy´s parents are the “baby boomers

The “Generation Y” – Lucy´s – is the generation born between the late 1970s and the mid 1990s.

This article is about why Lucy´s generation is so unhappy. It´s absolutely worth reading, it´s illustrative and above all: it´s merciless true for a huge part of this generation.
